Role Title - Cyber Security Engineer (A-OTHR Export Program) Role Description: Shape the Future of ICT and Cyber Security for a Strategic Defence Capability An opportunity exists for an experienced Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Cyber Security Engineer to support the delivery of the Australian Over-the-Horizon Radar (A-OTHR) Export Program.
Reporting to the Program Engineering Manager, you will contribute to the design, governance, assurance and integration of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems and Cyber Security capabilities across a strategically important Defence program.
The role will work closely with Defence stakeholders, industry partners, specialist engineering teams and representatives from the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) to ensure Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems are designed, secured, integrated and transitioned into service in accordance with Defence requirements.
Day to Day Tasks include: • Provide governance, design assurance and technical oversight of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems and Cyber Security activities across the Australian Over-the-Horizon Radar (A-OTHR) Export Program.
• Review ICT designs and provide engineering input to ensure solutions meet Defence security, technical and operational requirements.
• Support Cyber Security risk management activities, including the identification and mitigation of threats, vulnerabilities and security risks.
