The Role
An opportunity has become available for a
Director Speech Pathology and Audiology
to join
Gold Coast Health
where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern Current South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Be responsible for the professional oversight of all Speech Pathologists and Audiologists
Provide strategic leadership in the development of the Speech Pathology and Audiology profession
Be responsible for solving complex clinical service or work-flow issues
Drive cutting-edge clinical practice, service development and improvement, clinical education and research initiatives
Utilise high-level negotiation and conflict management skills
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Speech Pathology or Audiology
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $188,128 - $201,251 per annum
