This permanent position offers a hybrid working arrangement and would suit a payroll professional who enjoys working across both payroll and finance while taking ownership of key reporting and compliance processes.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Finance team, this role is responsible for the end‐to‐end management of payroll operations across Australia and New Zealand, while also supporting month‐end accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
The position offers significant variety and autonomy, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple disciplines rather than focusing solely on payroll processing.

Interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements, employment contracts, and payroll legislation
Payroll system administration and employee maintenance
Processing superannuation, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations

Support budgeting, forecasting, and workforce cost analysis
Preparation of FBT calculations and annual compliance reporting
Regulatory reporting and statutory submissions
Supporting internal and external audit requirements
Assisting with payroll system enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Previous experience in a Payroll Accountant, Payroll Specialist, or similar payroll‐focused finance role
Strong end‐to‐end payroll experience within a complex environment

Experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations and payroll‐related reporting
Robust analytical and problem‐solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with payroll systems and financial reporting tools
Exposure to Australian and New Zealand payrolls will be highly regarded
