Our client, a large-scale technology organisation operating across complex enterprise platforms, is seeking an
Environment & Release Manager
to take ownership of workplace readiness, release governance and production delivery across multiple applications and platforms.
This is a high-visibility role sitting at the centre of Engineering, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Product and Business teams, ensuring releases move from planning through to production with the right controls, dependencies and risk management in place.

This role goes beyond traditional release coordination. You will have broad ownership across the environment and release lifecycle:
What You'll Do
Own environment availability, readiness and operational stability across the delivery lifecycle
Manage consolidated release calendars and coordinate BAU, project and emergency releases
Establish and enforce release governance, quality gates and Go/No-Go checkpoints
Coordinate deployment plans, rollback procedures, release notes and operational runbooks
Identify and manage environment conflicts,



dependencies and release risks
Lead release readiness reviews and coordinate successful production deployments
Facilitate RCA activities and track corrective actions through to completion
Coordinate Engineering, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Product and Business stakeholders
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in Environment Management, Release Management or Application Delivery Management
Strong understanding of SDLC, release governance and change management
Experience managing multiple concurrent environments within complex enterprise environments
Knowledge of distributed architectures, microservices, middleware and integrations
Experience working with enterprise commerce platforms
Strong experience partnering with DevOps, QA, Infrastructure and Engineering teams
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, planning and risk management skills
Experience with CAB, incident management and RCA processes
