The Role – High-Acuity,
Hands-On Medicine
This is fast-paced urgent care with
genuine clinical variety.
You will manage:
Minor trauma and stable fractures
Acute musculoskeletal injuries
Laceration repair and complex wound management
Abscess drainage and minor procedures
Acute infections and exacerbations
Stabilisation of urgent presentations within scope
Walk-in patients requiring same-day care
You'll assess, treat and stabilise patients with a robust focus on clinical decision-making and appropriate escalation pathways.
This role suits GPs who:
Enjoy procedural work
Are confident in urgent presentations
Prefer structured acute care without hospital politics
Value autonomy within a supported framework
The centre operates with clear triage systems, experienced nursing support, and streamlined workflows allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care.
About You
Current AHPRA registration
Current BLS or ALS1 certification, with a willingness to work towards ALS2 certification
Confident managing urgent and acute presentations
Procedurally capable
Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
