Our client is a growing financial services group providing wealth advice and client accounting services to high net worth professionals across multiple states. It has grown quickly through acquisition and is now investing in technology and leadership as it consolidates.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll run bookkeeping for clients and tax administration. That covers quarterly BAS lodgements ahead of deadline, payroll and super processing, and SMSF administration. You'll also manage one offshore team member.
This firm promotes from within, and several of its senior finance leaders have been promoted internally. Grow the bookkeeping client base and there's real scope for this role to become a division leadership position with its own P&L;, plus bonus incentives tied to current client acquisition.
Perks include: Flexibility on working arrangements after a three month probation period, including one day working from home,
and the option to finish at 2:30pm across five days or move to a four day week to suit school pick ups.
What you'll need:
Bookkeeping experience, ideally managing multiple clients rather than a single internal role
BAS agent registration, requiring Certificate IV in Accounting or equivalent
Fluent in Xero, with proven ability to manage bookkeeping, BAS, payroll, and superannuation across a client portfolio
Outstanding client relationship skills, comfortable engaging confidently with high net worth clients
A proactive mindset, someone who raises issues early and proposes solutions rather than just flagging problems
Experience with Practice Manager, Suite Files, Content Snare, or similar platforms highly regarded
Previous team leadership or offshore team management experience highly regarded
