As our Queensland operations continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced and commercially driven Branch Manager to lead our Hamilton team, manage an established client portfolio and drive further business growth.
This is a hands‐on leadership opportunity combining client relationship management, recruitment operations, business development and team leadership. We're looking for someone who thrives on winning new business, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and has the leadership capability to inspire, coach and develop their team.
Operating across the transport and logistics, manufacturing and civil construction sectors, you'll take ownership of an established recruitment operation with the opportunity to make a genuine impact on its continued success.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, you'll be responsible for overall branch performance, business development, team leadership and operational delivery, while personally managing a small portfolio of clients.
We're looking for a confident, hands‐on leader who leads from the front, sets clear expectations and knows how to balance commercial growth with quality service delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching and developing the local team, encouraging individuals to extend their capabilities and achieve their full potential
Driving new business development through proactive prospecting, networking and converting opportunities into long‐term client relationships




Managing a small portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring quality recruitment and service delivery
Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and expand our presence
Taking ownership of branch performance
Fostering a positive, results‐driven team environment through strong leadership, clear direction and ongoing development
Developing and implementing strategies to achieve business growth and branch performance objectives
Overseeing recruitment operations, workforce management, compliance and WHS
Monitoring branch performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing practical solutions
Working closely with national leadership to support broader business objectives and growth opportunities
About You
We're looking for an experienced agency leader with strong commercial acumen, proven leadership capability and a genuine drive to grow a successful business.
You'll bring:
Proven experience in recruitment agency or labour hire operations, within industrial recruitment
A strong track record in business development, with the drive and persistence to pursue and win new clients
Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire,



coach and develop others to achieve strong results
Strong account management skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
The ability to balance branch leadership and business development with hands‐on account management responsibilities
Sound commercial acumen and an understanding of branch performance & targets
The confidence to make decisions, set clear expectations and take ownership of outcomes
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach with a robust sense of accountability
A sound understanding of recruitment operations, labour hire compliance and WHS requirements
Above all, you'll be someone who leads by example, enjoys the challenge of winning new business and takes genuine pride in developing both your team and your client relationships.
