Field Service Fitter

, this role is essential to our operations, providing on-site technical support and maintenance to our clients. As a Field Service Fitter, you will be the face of Pro Crush Pty Ltd in the field, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained, and serviced to the highest standards. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining client satisfaction and upholding our reputation for reliability and excellence in the Trades & Services sector.
Key responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery at client sites
Diagnose mechanical and technical faults using appropriate tools and equipment
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs
Provide technical advice and guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance
Document all work completed, including parts used and time spent on each job
Maintain a well-stocked service vehicle with all necessary tools and spare parts
Collaborate with the workshop and office teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
Continuously update knowledge of equipment and industry best practices
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Field Service Fitter or similar role in the Trades & Services or Technicians sector
Ability to travel
Experience with electrics and hydraulics
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment




Valid Driver Licence for travel to client sites across the region
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to Management/clients
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping
Ability to work safely and responsibly, with a commitment to health and safety standards
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, including lifting and working in various environments
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
Relevant qualifications or certifications in your trade are highly desirable
