Photonics Fabrication and Test Engineer
who can turn device concepts into
repeatable, high-yield fabrication flows
and continuously improve them.
This is a hands-on role spanning process development, integration, metrology, and yield, working closely with design and test to close the loop fast.
What you'll do
Develop, own, and improve end-to-end
photonics process flows
(process integration, recipe development, yield improvement)
Run and refine core cleanroom steps (as applicable): lithography (photo/e-beam), etch (RIE/ICP), deposition (PECVD/Thermal Evap), lift-off, cleaning, anneals
Establish robust
process windows
, controls, and documentation
Drive metrology + feedback loops to correlate process to device performance
Collaborate across fabrication, design, and characterization to improve performance, repeatability, and manufacturability




Run post-fabrication test and characterisation flows to measure design performance
Requirements
PhD in Physics, Engineering, or equivalent
2+ years hands-on semiconductor/photonics fabrication process experience
Expert in EBL, ICP-RIE, PECVD, Thermal Evap, SEM
Experience with measurement stages, optical and electrical probe alignment, data management
Strong fundamentals in process engineering: process control, recipe development, documentation
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex process issues end-to-end
Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with high ownership
