Job Description
We're looking for a
Village Cleaner
to join the team at our
Chirnside Park
village on a part time basis.More than keeping our village clean and tidy, you'll help create a welcoming place our residents are proud to call home.
You'll enjoy working independently, take pride in doing a excellent job and bring a friendly smile to the residents you meet throughout your day.
You day-to-day will include:
Cleaning village homes, communal areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and other shared spaces
Performing general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying rubbish bins.
Ensuringhigh standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained
Following a scheduled cleaning plan to ensure all areas meet required standards.
Adheringto health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
This is a
part-time role working two days per week
, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.




Enjoy the flexibility to choose the two days that suit you best, between Monday and Friday.
Qualifications
What's most important is that you're someone who takes pride in doing a great job and enjoys making a positive difference to our residents' day.
You'll enjoy getting to know the people around you and being part of a village community where your work is genuinely valued.
You will also bring with you:
Confident working independently and making quick, effective decisions when needed
Naturally responsible, dependable, and highly observant, with great attention to detail
Able to build rapport and trust with residents
A genuine interest in working with older people and creating a warm, respectful environment for residents
