The ideal candidate brings strong optical knowledge, confidence in premium customer service, and a genuine passion for eyewear, styling, and creating memorable customer experiences.RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer ExperienceDeliver an exceptional and personalised MOSCOT Shop experienceConfidently communicate the MOSCOT brand story, heritage, and product offeringAssist customers with frame styling, lens selection, and prescription eyewear solutionsFit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear to ensure comfort, function, and accuracyProvide knowledgeable guidance on lenses, coatings, materials, and product careMaintain accurate customer records and order entryProvide thoughtful follow-up and aftercare supportOptical & Product KnowledgeAct as a key resource for lens and product expertiseUnderstand lens limitations, compatibility, and suitable dispensing solutionsPartner closely with Lab Operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilmentMaintain strong knowledge of current eyewear trends and premium optical productsOperations & InventoryAssist with stock receipts, transfers,



replenishment, and cycle countsSupport inventory accuracy and reconciliation processesCoordinate with lab and shop teams on priority and VIP ordersMaintain the presentation, cleanliness, and organisation of the shopCommunication & TeamworkCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers and team membersAnswer and direct phone and customer enquiriesCollaborate closely with the wider MOSCOT team to support daily operations and shop goalsAssist with customer enquiries, phone calls, and virtual consultations as requiredQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSCertificate IV in Optical Dispensing preferred, though not essential with strong industry experience2 years + experience in optical dispensingStrong understanding of eyewear products, lenses, and optical dispensingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsConfident using POS and retail systems (Experience with Optomate is a plus)Positive, team-oriented approachWeekend and holiday availability requiredApplicants must hold full Australian working rights and currently reside in AustraliaWHY MOSCOTCompetitive salary package (Salary based on experience and seniority)A supportive and design-driven work environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesThe opportunity to work with an iconic global eyewear brand with over a century of heritage*Please note - Previous applicants need not reapply.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
