This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working with sheet metal and steel building products used across commercial and residential projects.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts to move steel coils,
sheet metal and finished products throughout the facilityLoad and unload trucks with steel roofing, walling and other oversized materialsSafely load steel coils onto mills and production equipmentComplete load restraint and strapping duties for transportWork closely with production and dispatch teams to meet daily targetsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentAbout YouCurrent LF Forklift Licence (advantageous)Experience operating forklifts in manufacturing, warehouse or steel environmentsComfortable handling long-length or non-standard materialsStrong commitment to workplace safetyReliable, team-focused and able to work in a fast-paced environmentPhysically fitEssential RequirementsCurrent LF Forklift Licence(advantageous)Previous experience loading steel, timber, piping, or oversized productsExperience operating forklifts in manufacturing, transport, yard, or warehouse environmentsUnderstanding of load restraint and safe loading practicesStrong commitment to safety and teamworkReliable transport and strong work ethicManual Handling ****** careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
