Knox Private Hospital is seeking a dedicated Prosthetics Coordinator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in supporting our surgical services, ensuring the efficient management and coordination of prosthetic devices and associated inventory across a busy private hospital environment.About the RoleAs the Prosthetics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, tracking, management and reconciliation of prosthetic stock used across a range of surgical specialties.
Working closely with surgeons, theatre teams, suppliers, finance and clinical departments, you will ensure prosthetic products are available when required while maintaining compliance, accuracy and cost efficiency.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating prosthetic inventory across multiple surgical specialtiesLiaising with surgeons, theatre staff and suppliers to ensure product availabilityManaging prosthetic ordering, receiving and stock control processesMonitoring consignment stock levels and coordinating replenishmentEnsuring accurate documentation,



charging and reconciliation of prosthetic usageMaintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirementsInvestigating and resolving inventory discrepanciesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProducing reports and supporting financial and operational performance initiativesContributing to process improvement opportunities within prosthetics managementAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Previous experience in prosthetics coordination, theatre supply, inventory management, healthcare procurement or a related healthcare settingStrong understanding of prosthetic devices and surgical services (desirable)Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsIntermediate to advanced computer skills, including inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to delivering exceptional customer service and patient outcomesWhy Join Knox Private Hospital?
