This is not a traditional role where you'll spend every day buried in month-end.What will you be doing?
Your role will be broad and wide-ranging, including:Analysing monthly financial and operational performanceSupporting financial reporting and Board reportingReviewing performance across a national franchise network, including sales, royalties, benchmarking and KPIsSupporting reconciliations and broader accounting processesIdentifying opportunities to improve and automate finance processesWorking on finance system enhancements and testingWho are we looking for?
You'll ideally be an Accountant with 3+ years' experience who enjoys the problem-solving side of finance.You don't need to come from an IT or systems background.
What matters is that you're naturally curious,
comfortable digging into a problem and interested in improving the way things are done.You'll ideally bring:A degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related disciplineCA/CPA qualification, or currently working towards completionStrong commercial accounting fundamentalsAn analytical and process improvement mindsetConfidence working with different stakeholdersStrong Excel and accounting systems capabilityWhy consider this opportunity?
