This role operates under the supervision of nursing or senior care staff and focuses on personal hygiene, physical comfort, dignity, and safety.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including showering, toileting, grooming, and continence careSupport clients with mobility, repositioning, and manual handling in accordance with safety proceduresAssist with daily care routines as directed by nursing or supervisory staffSupport meal services and provide basic feeding assistance when requiredMonitor and promptly report any changes in clients' health, wellbeing, or behaviourAccurately document care activities and observationsFollow infection control, workplace health and safety,



and manual handling guidelinesCorrectly and safely use personal care equipmentSupport clients' communication needs, including assisting with understanding instructions and expressing basic needs.Skills and QualificationsBilingual in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) & English is a MUSTCertificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or related field), or equivalentPrevious experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferredAbility to follow care plans, instructions, and established proceduresStrong attention to detail and a high commitment to client safety and dignityPhysically capable of performing manual handling tasksWhy Join Sunny Care?
