We're looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Sales team and play a key role in supporting better commercial decision-making across the region.Reporting to the Sales Director ANZ/SEA, you'll work closely with Sales Leadership and the wider sales team to understand performance, uncover opportunities, identify risks and turn data into clear, actionable recommendations.This is more than a reporting role.

Innovation and sustainability are central to our approach, including our Go Green journey and B Corp certification achieved in ****.Our Asia Pacific headquarters is based in Heatherton, Victoria, supporting customers across Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Southeast Asia.WHAT YOU'LL DOAnalyse sales performance across customers, products, territories, channels and marketsIdentify trends, opportunities, risks and performance gapsAnalyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, and understand the drivers behind the resultsLead the preparation of monthly sales reporting, providing meaningful commentary, insights and recommendationsPrepare analysis and insights for management meetings and business reviewsSupport budgeting,



forecasting and sales planningDevelop dashboards and reporting tools that make performance easier to understand and act onIdentify data quality issues and opportunities to improve reporting, processes and automationUndertake ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and support key commercial initiativesWHAT YOU'LL BRINGWe're looking for someone who enjoys working with data but is equally comfortable explaining what the data means and what we should do about it.You'll have:Experience in a Commercial Analyst, Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar analytical roleA relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related disciplineAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large datasetsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate variances and identify underlying driversA strong commercial mindset and the ability to turn analysis into practical recommendationsExcellent attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracyStrong communication skills and the confidence to present insights to stakeholdersExperience with Power BI or another data visualisation platform will be highly regarded,
