We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and fast-growing remedial and roofing contractor based in Kallangur, North Brisbane, who work across commercial and residential projects and are looking for an Estimator / Project Manager to join their Roofing team.This is a great opportunity to join a business that values its people and culture, and offers real career progression.
You'll work alongside two other Estimator/PMs and be supported by the department's General Manager.The Role:Reporting to the Roofing Department Manager, you'll split your time evenly between estimating and project management.
Your responsibilities will include:Pricing your own roofing projects, from reviewing plans and scopes to preparing detailed quotations and tendersProject managing your jobs from start to finish, including trade scheduling, budgets, variations and handoverManaging a manageable workload of around 5 to 10 projects at a time, depending on sizeBuilding strong relationships with clients, builders and tradesMaking sure works are delivered safely,
on time and to a high standardIdentifying and responding to new tender opportunitiesAbout You:To be successful, you'll ideally have:3+ years' experience in estimating and/or project management within roofing, remedial or constructionEnd-to-end tendering experience (preferred)A strong understanding of roofing scopes, NCC requirements and site safetyExperience with Simpro or similar estimating/job management softwareExcellent communication skills and a positive, team-first attitudeA current driver's licenceWhat's on Offer:Attractive salary, negotiable based on experienceCar allowance plus fuel card and tollsA supportive team culture with genuine career progressionA growing business with a solid pipeline of commercial and residential workApply Now!
