# Light Vehicle Mechanic – Full-Time | Glenroy VIC ******Prestige Automotive Mechanics** is an independent, locally owned automotive workshop in Glenroy.

We need a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to grow with us.
## The RoleA full-time, hands-on role servicing and repairing a wide range of makes and models.
You'll work closely with the owner, Aakash Malla, in a friendly team where quality work and honest advice come first.
## Key Duties– Logbook and general servicing to manufacturer specs (warranty-safe)– Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults with scan tools– Brake, suspension, steering and tyre work– Engine, cooling, clutch and drivetrain repairs– Pre-purchase and safety inspections– Clear job notes, and explaining repairs and quotes to customers– Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised## Requirements– Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR*****) or equivalent– Proven experience as a qualified light vehicle mechanic– Good attention to detail and pride in your work– Reliable,
punctual and a team player– Full working rights in Australia## Nice to Have– Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT) / Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) experience– Auto electrical skills– Confidence with diagnostic tools and software (e.g. Launch, Autel, Bosch)– Air-conditioning (ARC refrigerant handling) licence## What We Offer– Full-time, ongoing position– Pay: $35 per hour, above award rate, plus superannuation.
