You will represent some of Australia's largest insurers in bringing and defending claims for property damage.Responsibilities will include the following:Defending and pursuing motor vehicle property damage claimsRecovery actions on behalf of insurersLiability disputes arising from motor vehicle accidentsInvestigating liability, quantum and indemnity issuesConducting negotiations, mediations and settlement conferencesAppearing before the Magistrates' CourtPreparing pleadings, evidence and advocacy materialsWho We Are Looking ForTo be successful,
you will have:A minimum of 3 years' experience in motor vehicle insurance litigation.
General insurance will be considered but motor vehicle and property damage experience will be preferredExperience in appearing before the Magistrates' Court and in respect of credit-hire as well as repair and liability disputesThe ability to manage a high file load and proven history of meeting deadlinesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsA pragmatic and commercially focused approach to dispute resolutionWhat We OfferWe take a collaborative approach to your learning & development, giving you the personal attention and unique opportunities required to help you realise your full potential.
