On behalf of our client, a High-Profile Tier 1 Mining Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Principal Advisor - Cost to support the Closure Execution of a Project.
You will be responsible for leading cost forecasting, reporting and cost control activities while providing leadership to a team of Cost Controllers.
This will be a 12 month contract, based in the Brisbane, CBD.DescriptionManage a team of Cost Controllers and support continuous improvement initiativesLead forecasting and progress reporting of project costs, commitments and expenditureLiaise with stakeholders to support package forecasting activitiesReview cost data and provide trend analysis and recommendationsSupport proposal, bid and claim evaluations with the Contracts teamBuild effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWork with Construction Contractors to support cost and schedule forecastingPossible requirement to travel to the project site from time to timeProfileExtensive experience in Cost Control for major construction packagesUnderstanding of project management and project controls conceptsStrong commitment to safetyExperience using cost management toolsExcellent communication and collaboration skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively within a team environmentExposure to major projects and Tier 1 EPC or EPCM contractors is desirableJob OfferExcellent negotiable hourly rate!
