This entry‐level role is perfect for someone who's keen to learn underwriting from the bottom up.
You'll learn Builders Warranty underwriting in a supportive environment, starting with core administrative and customer support tasks.
Along the way, you'll build a strong foundation in financial analysis and risk concepts while working closely with brokers and homeowners.

As part of the QBE team, you'll get to spend every day working with people who are passionate, talented and kind.Your new roleAs an Assistant Underwriter you'll be the first point of contact for brokers and homeowners, as well as supporting the team with admin tasks while learning the fundamentals of underwriting.
Working closely with the Underwriting team,



you will also:Investigate and resolve client queries promptlyMaintain up-to-date product, system, and process knowledgeAttend relevant training courses and share insights with the teamEnsure all underwriting activities comply with business and regulatory requirementsAbout youTo be successful as an Assistant Underwriter you will have an interest in the insurance and/or building industry and will be looking for an chance to develop your career with a well known Australian brand.
You're highly organised and customer-focused, have a keen eye for details and are eager to learn.
