professional and compassionate first point of contact for people seeking housing and homelessness supportConduct initial assessments to understand individual circumstances and identify appropriate support pathwaysDeliver brief interventions, practical assistance, information and referrals to people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurityRespond to enquiries in person, over the phone and via emailCoordinate intake appointments for the Centre-Based and Families TeamsProvide information and guidance about housing services and available community supportsSupport the protected and effective management of people presenting to the centreDeliver intake, assessment and housing support services at outreach locationsBuild positive working relationships with local service providers and community stakeholdersMaintain accurate client records, documentation and reporting requirementsAbout YouYou are compassionate, adaptable and committed to supporting people experiencing challenging circumstances.
You bring a calm, professional approach to complex situations and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.You will bring:Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in community services, housing, homelessness support or a related fieldExperience working with people experiencing complex needs,
