Revel Brewing Co is looking for a Head Brewer to own production, from recipe to keg.
You won't be following someone else's brew sheet.
You'll run the brewery day to day, shape the core range and seasonals, and work directly with the owners on where the brewery goes next.
Revel Brewing Co brews along the banks of the Brisbane River at The Hills of Rivermakers in Morningside and is part of a Brisbane group with multiple restaurants, bars and entertainment venues, so your beer goes straight to taps, events and drinkers.Key responsibilitiesRun the full brewing process: raw materials, brewing, fermentation, conditioning and packagingPlan brew schedules to meet venue, wholesale and event demandKeep core beers consistent to spec, batch after batchManage yeast, fermentation, carbonation and QCOversee kegging and finished productLead and develop the brewery teamOwn purchasing, stock levels and supplier relationshipsTrack production costs, yield and waste, and find ways to improve themKeep accurate brew records,



inventory and traceabilityAbout you5+ years of commercial brewing, including time as a Head Brewer, Senior Brewer or similarHands-on experience with fermentation, yeast management, QC and packagingStrong production planning and organisationSolid knowledge of brewery equipment, CIP and maintenanceA commercial head: you understand cost per litre, yield and wasteYou take ownership and work well independentlyA safety-first approach and explicit communicationFull Australian working rightsFormal brewing qualification (e.g. IBD) – nice to haveExperience leading a team – nice to haveBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
