This long-term opportunity offers multiple extension options and a Hybrid working environment.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirementsSupport the creation and implementation of solutions to meet business needsSupport the creation and maintenance of solution documentsProvide support to daily operations and monitor performance of business solutionsAdhere to delivery and support methodologies and contribute ideas for improvementPerform technical application assessments considering risks and benefitsEscalate issues as required and suggest alternative approaches and solutionsAssist with cost analysis activities as requiredSupport the life cycle of changes and improvements to systemsProvide training, guidance and support for new staff where requiredConduct testing activities such as test coverage reviews, formal or informal test execution and test planningCollaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, solve problems and ensure effective and timely implementation of projectsUndertake project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications and design documentsPrepare correspondence such as reports and technical documentation for review by senior staffYour Technical skills will includeTranslate technical information for non-technical audiencesIdentify & analyse information & make recommendations based on evidenceThink critically & analytically to solve problemsWork collaboratively & integrate agile ways of workingAdopt & support others to adopt emerging trends & new ways of workingSeek & suggest innovations & improvementsIdentify & Assess Risks & Take Appropriate ActionAbout youDemonstrated experience in requirements definition and managementDemonstrated experience in design of moderately complex software applications or componentsAustralian Citizen with the ability to hold and maintain Australian Defence Security Clearance Baseline MinimumVeterans are encouraged to applyAbout SYPAQSYPAQ is experienced in the design and management of secure networks, and in the development and management of information and cyber security governance architecture in a Federal Government and Defence context to the highest security classification levels.
