This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our commitment to delivering high-quality support and care to individuals with disabilities.
As Team Leader, you will oversee daily operations, lead a dedicated team of support workers, and ensure that all clients receive person-centred care that promotes their independence, dignity and wellbeing.
This position is integral to our mission of enabling people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives within their communities.Key responsibilitiesLead, supervise and manage a team of support workers, providing guidance, training and performance management to ensure consistent delivery of quality careOversee the planning and delivery of individualised support services to clients, ensuring all care plans are implemented effectively and reviewed regularlyEnsure compliance with all relevant disability support legislation, regulations and organisational policies and proceduresConduct regular supervision and one-to-one meetings with team members to address concerns, provide feedback and support professional developmentManage rostering, scheduling and resource allocation to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient service deliveryMaintain accurate and timely documentation including incident reports, care notes and client records in accordance with regulatory requirementsLiaise with clients, families, carers and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative and responsive service deliveryIdentify and respond to safeguarding concerns, implementing appropriate protocols to protect client wellbeing and safetySupport staff induction,



training and competency development in line with disability support best practicesMonitor budget and expenditure for the team to ensure cost-effective service deliveryFoster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes professional development, collaboration and commitment to client outcomesWhat we're looking forProven experience working in disability services or aged care, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or team leadership roleStrong knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and disability support frameworksExcellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop support workersDemonstrated commitment to person-centred care and the promotion of client independence and dignitySound understanding of safeguarding, duty of care and compliance requirements in disability support servicesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholdersExcellent organisational and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple prioritiesProblem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgements in complex situationsCurrent First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportWorking With Children Check (WWCC) and current NDIS Worker Screening CheckPreferred:
