We currently have an opportunity for a proactive and results driven Commercial Analyst with demonstrated business partnering ability to join our team.
In this role you'll sit alongside our Home Entertainment business unit – working with the team directly to conduct business analysis through formulating reports, evaluating proposals, and making recommendations based on data analysis.
We're looking for someone who has a strong analytical background, with the confidence & ability to communicate with all levels of the business, both locally and internationally.About the role:Manage the business unit budget and forecasting processConduct periodic review meetings with various business unit managers, including generating and analysing data,



and recommending opportunities for improvementMeasure and analyse business unit performance against set KPIsConduct data analysis used to formulate reports that evaluate commercial viability and provide recommendations for business proposalsProvide historical / trend analysis and modelling for business forecasts and proposalsRespond to finance related queries from assigned business unitsRespond to profitability analysis queries for Region/HQ as requiredAbout you:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance/Accounting/Commerce or related fieldDemonstrated business partnering experienceAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of the businessAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsAbility to work as part of a team, while comfortable working independentlyHigh attention to detail, accountability and initiativeAbility to maintain a flexible attitude and approach towards tasks and successfully operate in a fast paced, often ambiguous environmentSales company experience highly advantageousSony is proud to offeran exciting work environment with ongoing training and opportunities to grow and invest in your career.
