Working within busy clinical environments, you will understand the importance of responding quickly when critical diagnostic equipment goes down.You will be supported by an established local engineering team, technical facilities, spare parts and wider operational resources.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and resolve faults on clinical laboratory and diagnostic instrumentationCarry out preventative maintenance, servicing and equipment repairsSupport installation and commissioning of diagnostic equipmentRespond to urgent equipment breakdowns within hospital and pathology laboratoriesProvide telephone and in office technical troubleshootingManage service visits,



priorities and customer follow-upsProvide clear technical advice and support to laboratory customersMaintain accurate service documentation and equipment recordsCoordinate spare parts and technical requirementsBuild strong relationships with hospital and laboratory customersParticipate in an on-call roster approximately once every six weeksSupport occasional regional and interstate service or installation requirementsAbout YouField service experience with IVD, clinical diagnostics or pathology laboratory equipmentExposure to haematology, chemistry, immunology or related clinical laboratory systemsStrong hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance and repair capabilityExperience diagnosing electrical, mechanical, instrumentation or software-related equipment faultsUnderstanding of the urgency of equipment breakdowns within high-volume clinical laboratoriesConfident managing service requirements and technical issues independentlyStrong customer service, communication and organisational skillsComfortable working directly with laboratory and hospital customersEngineering qualification preferred, although substantial relevant technical experience will also be consideredWillingness to participate in an on-call rosterWillingness to undertake occasional regional and interstate travelWillingness to complete comprehensive product training, potentially including overseas training in SingaporeOn OfferAttractive Base + Car Allowance + KPI-Based BonusMacquarie Park base with predominantly Sydney customer coverageEstablished local engineering and technical support teamTools and equipment suppliedAccess to technical facilities and locally available spare partsComprehensive product and technical trainingPotential overseas product trainingLong-term career development within a growing global clinical diagnostics businessTo get the best candidate experience, please consider applying for a maximum of 3 roles within 12 months to ensure you are not duplicating efforts.
