Beyond creating an exceptional welcome, you'll play a key leadership role on the floor, guiding the team and driving consistently high service standards.About the RoleAs Maitre D', you will be the welcoming face and operational heartbeat of Marrow & Co.
You will oversee the guest journey, coordinate reservations and seating, lead the front-of-house team through service, and ensure every guest receives warm, personalised and seamless service.Key responsibilities include:Delivering a premium guest experience that reflects the Marrow & Co brandLeading the front-of-house welcome and managing reservations, bookings and seating plansLeading pre-service briefings to ensure the team is prepared, informed and aligned for each serviceBuilding strong relationships with regular guests and VIP membersCoordinating service flow between the kitchen and front-of-house teamsDriving guest satisfaction by proactively managing service standards, feedback and opportunities to elevate the experienceManaging guest enquiries,



feedback and special requests with professionalism and careSupporting the Restaurant Manager with daily floor operationsCoaching and developing front-of-house team members through hands-on support and feedbackLeading by example and maintaining premium service standards throughout every serviceUpholding high standards of presentation, cleanliness and attention to detailDemonstrating our values through teamwork, initiative and a genuine passion for hospitalityAbout YouYou are a hospitality professional who thrives on creating memorable guest experiences and leading others to deliver exceptional service.To be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience as a Maitre D', Restaurant Supervisor, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership roleExperience within premium dining, fine dining, or upscale hospitality environmentsExceptional guest engagement and relationship-building skillsStrong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standardsConfidence leading, coaching and motivating a front-of-house teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA polished and professional presentationThe ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environmentConfidence managing reservations, guest flow and peak service periodsRSA certification (or willingness to obtain)Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidaysFull Australian working rightsIf you're passionate about premium hospitality, enjoy building relationships with guests, and are ready to lead the front-of-house experience at one of Bankstown's premier dining destinations, we'd love to hear from you.
