You'll take each claim from lodgement through to settlement, including recoveries, and build your own delegated authority as you prove yourself.We're open to candidates from a range of General Insurance claims backgrounds, and you'll get the training and support to build your skills across property, motor and farm-related claims.As a Claims Consultant, you will:Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 claims end to end, from lodgement through to settlement and recoveriesInvestigate claims,



interpret policy wording and assess coverageMake commercially balanced decisions within your delegated authorityNegotiate settlements and determine liability and exclusionsBuild strong relationships with brokers, customers and external stakeholdersWork collaboratively with Underwriting and the wider businessDeliver fair, efficient and customer-focused outcomesWhat We're Looking ForExperience handling General Insurance claimsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence to make decisions and manage competing prioritiesCuriosity and a genuine desire to learn and developRecoveries experience isn't required, as full training is provided.
