Payroll Officer | $85k + Super | 10-Month ContractEagle Farm, Brisbane | Hybrid Working | Free Onsite Parking1 day WFH per week | Flexible start and finish timesJoin a large, established organisation with a supportive payroll teamThe OpportunityWe are partnering with a large, well-established organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a 10-month fixed-term contract, commencing November ****.This is an excellent opportunity for a capable payroll professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, takes pride in their accuracy and is confident managing day-to-day payroll responsibilities.Based in Eagle Farm, the role offers a supportive team setting, flexibility around working hours, one day working from home each week and free onsite parking.The RoleWorking as part of an established payroll function, you will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services across a large workforce.Your responsibilities will include:Processing payroll accurately and within required deadlinesManaging payroll adjustments, allowances,
deductions and employee changesResponding to payroll enquiries from employees and internal stakeholdersMaintaining accurate employee records and payroll informationAssisting with payroll reconciliations and reportingSupporting compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements and legislative requirementsIdentifying and resolving payroll discrepanciesWorking collaboratively with the broader payroll team to ensure a high standard of serviceAbout YouWe are looking for someone who brings a solid understanding of payroll, strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented approach.Ideally, you will have:Previous experience working as a Payroll OfficerPayroll experience within a large or complex organisation, highly regardedA sound understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirementsStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlinesConfidence working with payroll systems and Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsA proactive, reliable and approachable working styleMost importantly, you will be someone who enjoys being part of a team, communicates well and takes ownership of their work.What's on Offer?
