This role is a genuine step up.
You'll own a portfolio of around 100 property or motor claims from lodgement through to settlement, including recoveries, and build your own delegated authority as you prove yourself.You'll be offered structured training and onboarding, working alongside a fantastic, supportive team, with plenty of room to progress.As a Claims Specialist, you will:Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 property or motor claims end to end, from lodgement through to settlement and recoveriesInvestigate claims, interpret policy wording and assess coverageMake commercially balanced decisions within your delegated authority, building that authority over timeNegotiate settlements and determine liability and exclusionsHandle a mix of claims, from straightforward matters through to complex property lossesBuild strong relationships with brokers, customers and external stakeholders,



including regional brokersWork collaboratively with Underwriting and the wider businessDeliver fair, productive and customer-focused outcomesWhat We're Looking For2–3 years' General Insurance claims experience, ideally in property or motorStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence to make decisions and manage competing prioritiesA curious, open mind and a keenness to learn across property, motor and farm-related claimsRecoveries experience isn't required.
