We are guided by our Sustainable Sydney ********* Continuing the Vision and Urban Forest strategies to deliver ambitious goals to increase canopy cover and improve the urban forest.Working as part of the Urban Forest Management team, the Project Manager - Tree Planting will manage our street, park and property tree planting programs to best practice industry, asset and contract management standards.
Your responsibilities will also include, collecting and analysing data, providing expert technical advice to a range of stakeholders and contributing to the City's tree management and urban forest policies.We are looking for someone with:tertiary qualifications in (or currently studying for) an Australian Qualification Framework (AQF Level 5) Diploma in Arboriculture, or equivalent industry experience with a minimum AQF Level 4 horticultural or landscape design qualificationunderstanding and experience in young tree assessment, tree planting operations and programs, conflicts with infrastructure, and an understanding of contract managementproven track record in meeting strict deadlines,
