They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Adelaide on a permanent basis.The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Engineering or similarAt least 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or similar positionExperience within a pharmaceutical, chemical, food, medical device or similarly regulated manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of GMP requirements and regulated manufacturing environmentsExperience working on capital projects from concept through to implementationExperience with continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing or process optimisationStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and production systemsExperience with process validation,



commissioning and qualification activitiesAble to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teamsThe Mechanical Engineer role will involve:Supporting the development, improvement and optimisation of manufacturing processesManaging and supporting capital projects including equipment upgrades, installations and new production systemsWorking other internal teams to implement process improvementsIdentifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality and safetySupporting commissioning, qualification and validation activities for new and existing equipmentDeveloping and maintaining process documentation, procedures and work instructionsInvestigating manufacturing issues and implementing corrective and preventative actionsAnalysing production data and identifying opportunities for process optimisationWorking with suppliers and contractors throughout capital projects and equipment installationsSupporting the introduction of new products, processes and manufacturing equipment
