We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Designer to join our Kanga Loader engineering team.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimisation of mechanical systems and components.
This position requires a robust foundation in mechanical engineering principles, including experience with hydraulic components, advanced CAD proficiency, sheet metal fabrication, and low voltage (12v) electrics.Key Responsibilities:Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including engineering reports, detailed drawings, and specificationsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design objectives and project requirements are metDevelop & manage large 3D models and assemblies usingAutodesk InventorGenerate manufacturing drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Contribute to research and development initiatives and support engineering innovation projectsParticipate in prototype development, testing, and validation of design conceptsEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards and prepare technical documentation for certificationUnderstand hydraulic components, pumps, spool valves, solenoid valves, hydraulic motors and hydraulic cylindersExperience & Requirements:Bachelor's degree, diploma or relevant trade experience in Mechanical Engineering, drafting or a related disciplineExperiencein a similar role,
