Financial Accountant - 6 months contractWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance team member to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis and compliance outcomes as part of a broader finance function.Key responsibilitiesPreparation of monthly financial resultsAnalytical review of results and provision of commentary to managementCompletion of balance sheet reconciliations for general ledger accountsMaintain fixed asset registers and relevant depreciation postings and schedulesMaintenance of cost centres and chart of accountsProcess stock write-offs and revaluations as required, including annual stocktake analysisAssist with budget preparationAssist business leaders with monthly forecastingAssist with monthly reporting pack preparationResponsible for monthly BAS preparation and lodgementAbout youPrevious experience supporting finance activities within a retail,
