Exceed Industries Pty Ltd is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice CNC Machinist to join our growing team in Richlands, Queensland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge CNC machinery in a supportive and innovative workshop.About the RoleAs an Apprentice CNC Machinist, you will be trained in all aspects of CNC machining, including how to set up, operate, and maintain state-of-the-art equipment.
You'll work alongside highly skilled machinists and learn how to produce precision components to meet industry standards.This is a full time position with structured on-the-job training and the opportunity to complete a nationally recognised trade qualification.What You'll Be Doing (With Training & Support):CNC Machining BasicsLearn to program and operate CNC lathes and milling machinesAssist with setting up jobs and monitoring machine operationsDevelop understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materialsQuality Control & InspectionUse measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to check accuracyLearn to verify components against engineering specifications and tolerancesTechnical InterpretationRead and interpret engineering drawings and job instructionsUnderstand basic CAD/CAM software (e.g. Fusion 360 or OneCNC) — training providedSafety & OrganisationMaintain a clean, organised,



and safe work environmentFollow workplace health and safety protocolsTeam CollaborationWork closely with experienced machinists, supervisors, and other team membersReport progress, ask questions, and contribute to a positive team cultureWhat We're Looking For:A genuine interest in engineering, mechanics, or manufacturingWillingness to learn and take directionStrong attention to detail and pride in doing quality workGood communication skills and a team-first attitudeReliable, punctual, and enthusiastic about building a long-term careerCompleted Year 10 or above (preferred)Previous experience is not required — just bring your motivation and a willingness to learn!
