In this casual role, you will be responsible for assisting clients with a range of daily living activities in a 24-7 SIL home setting.What you'll be doingProviding personalised support and assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks to our complex clientsFacilitating community access and engagement, including accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and recreational eventsImplementing individual support plans and collaborating with the broader care team to ensure the best outcomes for each clientAdvocating for client needs and preferences,



and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of service deliveryMaintaining accurate records and documentation to support the delivery of high-quality careWhat we're looking forIt is mandatory for applicants to be female native English speakersIt is essential that you are available to attend shifts between 9am and 7pmStrong English language proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience supporting participants with psychosocial disability (highly regarded)Experience supporting individuals living with dementia (desirable)Proven reliability, professionalism, and consistency in attendance and practiceHigh-level documentation and report-writing skills aligned with NDIS standardsThe ability and willingness to provide trauma-informed, behaviourally informed support to a participant presenting with complex behavioursA current Australian driver's licenceWhat we offerAt Soteria, we are committed to supporting our employees to thrive.
