Aspect Personnel is looking for an Asset Protection Field Officer for a 3-month temp assignment with a council in Melbourne.
You'll join the Asset protection Team and help protect council assets such as footpaths, kerbs, nature strips, drains and street trees during building and construction works.Key responsibilities:Carry out initial and final inspections of council assets at building sitesPhotograph all assets at the start and end of each buildWrite clear, accurate reports on any damage to council assetsEnter inspection data across multiple council systemsFollow up with builders and owners when damage has occurred, so they repair it or are held accountableInvestigate and respond to complaints,
including:unrestrained rubbish on building sitesdamaged council assetscouncil land being occupied without a permitAbout you:Experience in asset protection, local laws, compliance or a similar council role (highly regarded)Understanding of council local laws and the Road Management Act **** (an advantage)Solid attention to detail and the ability to write clear, factual reports with photosAble to communicate firmly and professionally with builders, contractors and residentsCurrent Victorian driver's licenceWhat's on offer:Competitive hourly rate, paid weeklyFull-time hours, Monday to Friday.A chance to build local government experience with a respected council
