This role involves manufacturing timber staircases from shop drawings through to final assembly and install, with a solid focus on craftsmanship, accuracy, and safety.ResponsibilitiesManufacture timber staircases including treads, risers, stringers, handrails, and balustrade componentsInterpret and work from shop drawings, plans, and specificationsMeasure, cut, assemble, and finish staircase components to a high standardWork with solid timber, glass, aluminum and other materialsMaintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop learning the day-to-day operationsIdentify and resolve manufacturing issues proactivelyOperate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficientlyWorking onsite with our site team installing manufactured stairs, aluminium balustrades and glass balustradesGood time management,
focused on completing tasks efficiently to a high standardWhite CardValid White Card must be held before commencing employmentCurrent NSW driver's license preferable but not necessaryWhat you will learnExperience in staircase manufacturing, joinery, or fine carpentry is preferred however full training will be given to all applicantsSome trade exposure in joinery or carpentry is preferredAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsHigh attention to detail and pride in workmanshipExperience with CNC, machinery, hand and power toolsUnderstanding of stair construction methods and Australian StandardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhite CardValid White Card must be held before commencing employmentCurrent NSW driver's license preferable but not necessaryAbove award wageAccess to all tools and machinery you requireWork in a strong and positive cultureContinually building your joinery and carpentry skillsOpportunity to grow with the business through different roles
