We have an exciting chance for a reliable Support Worker with a "can do" attitude to assist a male with a spinal cord injury in the Tamworth area.About you:You are reliable with good work ethic and understand the importance of providing care with dignity and respect.
You are self-motivated, calm, and looking to make an invaluable positive impact on the lives of others.About the Role:You will be working closely with our member in their own home and in the community, providing care and supports which include:Manual Handling (using a hoist/lifter)Medication ManagementAssistance in the community (appointments and errands)Domestic tasks (cleaning and laundry)Meal preparationAssistance with exercisesCommitment to this role is essential!




Shifts currently on offer include but are not limited to:Monday – Sunday from:7:00am -11:30am12:00pm - 2:30pm7:30pm - 9:30pmFlexibility is essential as these hours are subject to change and there is also the possibility of some fill-in work availablein the event of absences.Requirements:You must have the right to live and work in AustraliaA National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Drivers License & Own vehicleAnyone living locally with experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries would be considered highly desirable, however, reliable and compassionate applicants with a genuine interest are encouraged to apply.
