The role suits people who thrive in dynamic settings and enjoy working across multiple areas of a hospitality business.What you'll doPrepare and serve high-quality espresso-based coffee drinks and other beverages with precision and consistencyTake customer orders and process payments accuratelyMaintain a clean and hygienic work environment, including regular sanitisation of equipment and surfacesAssist with food preparation, plating and presentation according to established standardsStock and rotate inventory, ensuring adequate supplies of coffee, milk, food items and consumablesProvide friendly, attentive and qualified customer service to all guestsWork collaboratively with team membersAdhere to health and safety regulations and company policiesSupport general café operations as requiredAbout youDemonstrated experience preparing espresso-based beverages (at least 1 year of experience)Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanourAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak periodsBasic food handling knowledge and understanding of health and hygiene standardsFlexibility and willingness to assist across multiple areas of the caféReliability and the ability to manage casual shifts responsiblyExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAttention to detail in beverage and food presentationPrevious hospitality or café experience is advantageous
