This is an exciting opportunity for you to grow your hotel skill set in order to build a career with-in The Langham, shall you be determined and dedicated.This position is an integral part of a high performing hotel team, and a key contributor to the hotel's ongoing success.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeProvide a warm welcoming smile for all our guestsAssist guests entering and departing the hotel with luggageFamiliarise the guests with the hotel rooms, facilities, amenities and servicesDeliver messages, faxes and other items to guest rooms or other hotel areasAssist the Doorperson; opening car doors, greeting guests, summoning taxi's, keeping the Porte Cochere (driveway) clear, loading/unloading luggage into vehicles, labelling luggage & car keysMonitor cleanliness of the Ground Floor Lobby, Front Driveway, Porters Station & Back Corridor and the Baggage StoreValet parkingFor this role, your attributes will be inclusive of the following:5 star hotel experience is an advantageExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethicProven organisational & time management skillsHold a current manual Australian drivers licenseImmaculate presentation and groomingAbility to work independentlyEye for detail coupled with a strong ability to proactively identify,
