Electrical & Instrumentation Shutdown Technicians
Engineering Trades Australia is seeking Dual-Traded Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians for an upcoming shutdown with a major mining operation near Cloncurry, QLD.
This opportunity is suited to experienced dual-trade professionals with a strong mining background, particularly those who have worked across surface operations, processing plants or mills.
The Details
Rate: $100/hr
Shutdown: Thursday 5 November - Sunday 8 November ****
Roster: 12-hour shifts
Fly In: Wednesday 4 November
Fly Out: Monday 9 November
Travel: FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns
Positions: 2
Location: Near Cloncurry, QLD
Travel and Pay:
Shutdown shifts: 12 hours paid per day.
Fly-out day (9 November):
12 hours paid.
Fly-home day: 6 hours paid travel time.
About You
We're looking for candidates with:
Dual-trade qualifications in Electrical and Instrumentation.
Previous mining experience, ideally across surface operations, mills or processing plants.
Shutdown experience highly regarded.
Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets.
A solid commitment to safety and site procedures.
Availability for the full shutdown and travel schedule.
MMQ medical (desirable)
