Bethel Home Care is growing, and we're looking for a Part-Time Registered Nurse (15 hours per week, can be over 2 or 3 days) to join our friendly and supportive community care team.We support older people through Support at Home and Commonwealth Home Support Programs, providing personalised care that helps clients remain secure, independent and comfortable in their own homes.This is more than a clinical role.
You'll get to know your clients, manage your own day and see the difference your care makes.About the RoleYou'll visit clients in their homes across Sydney's Inner West and South, providing clinical care to clients with a range of needs.You'll have the autonomy to manage your own diary, organise your travel and structure your working day.The role is initially part-time, with the opportunity to increase your hours and potentially move to full-time as the service and your caseload grow.Your day may include:Wound care and pressure injury managementCatheter insertion and management (IDC/SPC)PEG feeding and enteral nutrition supportMedication administrationContinence assessments and product recommendationsClinical reviews and care planningClinical documentation and oversightBuilding ongoing relationships with clients and their familiesImportantly, this isn't about rushing from one appointment to the next.
You'll have the opportunity to build real relationships with clients through repeat visits and ongoing care.Work Independently – Stay ConnectedCommunity nursing gives you the freedom to work independently, but you're never on your own.While you'll spend much of your day visiting clients,
