We are seeking a Mine Planning Engineerto join ourUnderground Mining teamat our Sunrise Dam Gold mine.Reporting to the Underground Mine Planning Superintendent, this role is responsible for the delivery of mine plans and schedules in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing industry best practice.
This role is on 8 days on /6 days off FIFO roster, where we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and/or KalgoorlieAccountabilitiesProduce mine designs for the underground mine to meet the budget physicals in alignment with the mine plan and strategyProduce Stope and Development designs to support the Short-Term Plan and Budget.Assist the Senior Planning Engineer with economic evaluations for production panels.Work with the Drill & Blast and Operations teams to ensure all plans are fit for purpose and executable.Work with the Geology team to optimise Grade Control drill platforms.Be an active safety leader in line with the company's values, policies and procedures.Ensuring any risks to the plan are adequately communicated to all stakeholders.About YouPeople are at the heart of everything we do.
