Estate Wine Distributors is an established wine distribution business supplying restaurants, hotels, bottle shops and other customers across Sydney, regional NSW and interstate.
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operator to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and organisation of our Kurnell warehouse.
This is a hands-on role in a small business.
You will be responsible for ensuring orders are picked and prepared accurately, delivery vehicles are loaded on time, incoming stock is received and stored correctly, and the warehouse remains clean, organised and under control.
You will be supported Tuesday to Thursday by a part-time Warehouse Assistant, but you must also be comfortable working independently, identifying what needs to be done and getting on with the job without constant supervision.Key responsibilitiesPick and prepare customer orders accurately and on timePrepare local,



regional and interstate orders for dispatchLoad company delivery vans and coordinate daily dispatch requirementsLoad and unload trucks and incoming deliveriesReceive, check and correctly store incoming stockMaintain accurate stock locations and assist with inventory controlEnsure correct stock and wine vintage rotation, including appropriate use of older vintagesMaintain an organised warehouse to facilitate accurate stock countsConduct and assist with regular stock counts and investigate discrepanciesSafely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipmentAbout youPrevious warehouse/storeperson experienceCurrent forklift licence - essentialStrong attention to detail and stock accuracyGood organisational and time-management skillsA reliable and punctual approach to workThe ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise work without constant supervisionA practical, hands-on attitude and good communication skillsThe physical capacity to undertake normal warehouse dutiesA solid commitment to safe work practices
