Depending on your experience, skills and the needs of the operation, you could be serving customers, making coffees, preparing food in the kitchen, helping with stock or supporting another one of our venues.With six different outlets and a mix of Front of House and Back of House opportunities, there is plenty of variation and room to develop your skills.What you'll be doingDepending on your role and experience, your responsibilities may include:Front of HouseWelcoming and serving customersTaking orders and operating POS systemsPreparing and serving coffees and other beveragesFood service and order presentationMaintaining clean and well-presented customer areasProviding friendly and productive customer serviceBack of HouseFood preparation and basic cookingSupporting kitchen operationsPreparing ingredients and productsReceiving, rotating and restocking productsMaintaining clean and organised kitchen and storage areasDishwashing and general kitchen dutiesFollowing food safety, hygiene and cleaning proceduresAssisting with stock management and reducing wastageYou may also have the opportunity to work across different outlets depending on operational requirements and your training.Who we're looking forYou don't need to know everything on day one.We're looking for people who bring the right attitude and are:Reliable and punctualFriendly and customer-focusedComfortable working as part of a teamHappy to work in both customer-facing and operational rolesWilling to learn and develop new skillsFlexible and willing to support different areas when requiredCommitted to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safetyPrevious experience in hospitality, kitchens, fast food, cafés, restaurants, retail or customer service is an advantage, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.Hours & availabilityGold Coast Airport operates 7 days a week, with shifts available between 3:00am and 10:00pm.We have Full-Time and Casual positions available.We are looking for team members with flexible availability across early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.Due to some of our early starts and late finishes, you will need to have reliable transport to and from Gold Coast Airport, including at times when public transport may be limited.Successful applicants will also need to meet relevant airport security and access requirements.Pay & conditionsPay rates and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable Award, including relevant penalty rates and allowances where applicable.Why work with us?
