Location: RAAF Edinburgh, Adelaide, SA — onsiteEmployment type: Full-time contractDuration: Immediate start to 30 December ****, with potential extensionSecurity clearance: Current NV2 or higher requiredAbout the opportunityAzooa is seeking an experienced ICT System Administrator to support a Defence electronic warfare setting.This hands-on role combines day-to-day server, workstation and network administration with infrastructure improvements and security accreditation support.
You'll take ownership of technical solutions while providing reliable, responsive support to users.Key responsibilitiesAdminister Windows servers and workstations, including account management, patching and desktop imaging.Build and integrate infrastructure components, including WSUS.Configure firewall rules, switching and network segmentation, including Palo Alto technologies.Apply ISM and ACSC guidance to balance security controls with operational requirements.Develop and maintain certification, accreditation and system documentation.Support Linux upgrades, virtualisation, monitoring, logging and endpoint security.Create SOPs and build instructions,



deliver training and transfer knowledge to permanent staff.Troubleshoot issues across systems, applications and networks.What you'll bringStrong hands-on Windows, Windows Server and networking experience.Comprehensive knowledge of the Information Security Manual and supporting ACSC guidance.Experience developing and maintaining security accreditation documentation.Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.The ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a technical team.A current Australian Government security clearance of at least NV2.Highly regardedFour or more years in a similar ICT role.Jira administration, VMware, NetApp storage and SQL Server experience.Linux administration and familiarity with electronic warfare environments.Work arrangementsThe role is based onsite at RAAF Edinburgh, Adelaide.
