You'll use forecasting, predictive analytics and commercial insight to understand what could happen next, and help us decide what to do about it.What you'll be doing Working closely with our Risk, Finance, Operations and Product teams, you'll turn complex data into practical recommendations that influence business strategy.You'll:Build driver based portfolio forecasts and help establish a new forecasting capability within OnDeckAnalyse how changes in credit policy, pricing, marketing, channel mix, fraud controls and customer behaviour could impact portfolio performanceDevelop and enhance expected loss forecasting and provisioning methodologies in line with AASB 9 / IFRS 9Identify emerging portfolio risks, trends and commercial opportunitiesDevelop and implement credit strategy optimisations that drive sustainable growth and profitabilityConduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support strategic planning and executive decision makingAnalyse opportunities across credit strategy, pricing, fraud, collections and the customer funnelAssess existing credit policies and recommend improvementsTurn complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders and executivesWhat we're looking for You'll be naturally curious,



commercially minded and comfortable getting into the detail while still seeing the bigger picture.Ideally, you'll bring:A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Actuarial Studies, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline3+ years' experience in a commercially focused analytical role, such as lending, management consulting, strategy or corporate developmentStrong analytical and problem solving capabilityStrong Excel and SQL skillsExperience with at least one analytical language or platform such as R, SAS or SPSSA high level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyConfidence working with stakeholders across different areas of a business, including C-Suite executivesThe ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesMost importantly, intellectual curiosity and a genuine desire to understand what is driving the numbersWhy OnDeck?
