you will own the performance of a tax and advisory team and be the person who keeps its work moving.Own delivery of compliance deadlines and operational targets across your teamSpend most of your week reviewing work and sharpening the technical skills of your peopleOversee tax compliance and financial reporting for a range of entities, including complex structuresPlan and delegate workloads across a team working between the office and homeBe the first call for technical questions and for client or stakeholder issues that need leadershipTHE INDIVIDUAL:Degree qualified and CA or CPA certifiedProven record leading a tax compliance team within public practiceExperience managing a client list, budgets and deadlines while developing othersTechnically solid across tax compliance, general and special purpose reporting, and spotting Div 7A, CGT, GST and FBT issuesA confident communicator who builds trust across a hybrid teamMeticulous attention to detail, with strong planning and delegation skillsPlease note you must be an Australian citizen (or permanent resident), a New Zealand citizen or hold a current Australian Work Visa to apply.
